Description
The Application 'onGuard' is an all-purpose alarm and safety system for any kind of monitoring.

The application controls:
1. motions in the camera screen (video control)
2. motions/vibrations of the iPhone (motion control)
3. the sound level of the surrounding area (sound level control)

All three kinds of monitoring can be combined with each other or can be used individually as well. The sensitivity can be adjusted easily by means of a slider.

If at least the sensitivity level of one type of monitoring is exceeded, the alarm is triggered.

Six different alarm functions can be selected:
1. Photos are taken and stored in the album.
2. Sounds are recorded and stored in the album.
3. Display flashes red.
4. An alarm sound is played (many sounds available)
5. E-mails are sent automatically with photos or audio files attached.
6. A phone number is called automatically so that it is possible to hear what happens in the surrounding area of the iPhone (thus it can also be used as a BABY PHONE)


The first five alarm functions can be combined with each other.

The sixth function should be only used with the function 'Photos to be stored?', because the application is finished after the phone number has been called and thus the control function is interrupted. After the call the application has to be restarted manually. This is not an error of the application but a safety function of the operating system OS 3.1.

The application 'onGuard' can be used in various everyday situations e.g.
- alarm system with

- - - > also usable with iPhone telescope (Google: iPhone telescope). The iPhone telescope through the window for example on a car to monitoring it

- - sound level control

- babyphone with
- - sound level control and/or video control
- - - > calling another phone/mobile phone

- sleep control
- - snoring control with audio recording
- - recording of coughing fits of children in the night in order to enable the pediatrician to diagnose the type of cough.

- protection of objects or areas against dogs/cats
- - control of the kitchen table
- - control of beds
- - control of plants
- - - > in case of alarm a siren sound is played

- monitoring of earthquakes
